## Notes
- Alnora is a self-hosted WordPress plugin; it runs inside the clinic's own site and patient data stays in the clinic's own database — there is no third-party cloud holding patient information.
- Sensitive patient fields (contact details, medical records) are encrypted at rest with AES-256; a SHA-256 email hash is used for lookups.
- GDPR toolkit: consent capture with timestamp and IP, data export, right-to-erasure, audit log, and optional automatic deletion of inactive records.
- There are no per-booking fees on any tier; Pro and Clinic are annual licences with unlimited staff. A genuinely free version is available on WordPress.org.
- The free plugin provides core booking; Pro and Clinic add payments, deposits, medical records, multi-channel reminders, telehealth, calendar sync, reporting and the GDPR toolkit — everything in one licence, with no separate paid add-ons.
- Patient-facing booking, portal, emails and PDFs are available in 13 languages, chosen independently of the site language.
