From install to first booking
No developer required — everything is configured from plain-language settings in wp-admin.
Install & activate
Upload the plugin and activate it. On activation it creates its tables, roles and a “Book an Appointment” page with the booking shortcode already in place.
Add a doctor
Go to Alnora Clinic → Doctors and add at least one doctor, setting their weekly working hours and breaks.
Add a service
Go to Alnora Clinic → Services and add at least one service with its duration and price.
Take your first booking
Visit the auto-created booking page (linked under Alnora Clinic → Settings) and make a test booking.

Is Alnora Clinic really free?
Yes — the free version is a complete, working booking system, not a time-limited trial. There’s no card required and no expiry. You only pay if you later choose to upgrade to Pro for the extra features.
What’s the catch — what’s not included?
No catch. The free version covers booking, doctors, services, availability, patient records, GDPR consent and automatic emails. Pro adds online payments and refunds, recurring appointments, a waitlist, SMS/WhatsApp reminders, calendar sync, telehealth links, a patient portal and encrypted medical records.
How many doctors and appointments can I add?
There’s no limit. Add as many doctors, services and appointments as your clinic needs — the free version doesn’t cap any of them.
Do I need WooCommerce or any other plugin?
No. Alnora Clinic is self-contained — booking, records and emails all work on their own. You just need a WordPress site.
Will it work with my theme?
Yes. The booking form renders inside its own scoped container with a small CSS reset, so it looks at home in any standard WordPress theme. Add it with the [alnora_booking] shortcode or the Alnora Booking Form block.
Is patient data stored securely?
Patient email and phone are encrypted at rest (AES-256) on your own server, with a hashed email for lookups. GDPR consent is recorded with a timestamp and IP — nothing is sent to third parties.
Can I upgrade to Pro later without losing my data?
